College Development Committee

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prepare an overall comprehensive development plan of the college regarding academic, administrative and infrastructural growth, and enable the college to foster excellence in curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
• Decide about the overall teaching programs or annual calendar of the college.
• Recommend to the management about introducing new academic courses and the creation of additional teaching and administrative posts.
• Take review of the self-financing courses in the college, if any, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Make specific recommendations to the management to encourage and strengthen research culture, consultancy and extension activities in the college.
• Make specific recommendations to management to foster academic collaborations to strengthen teaching and research.
• Make specific recommendations to management to encourage the use of information and communication technology in the teaching and learning process.
• Make specific recommendations regarding the improvement in teaching and suitable training programs for the employees of the college
• Prepare the annual financial estimates (budget) and financial statements of the college or institution and recommend the same to the management for approval, etc.

Academic Council

Roles and Responsibilities:

• To scrutinize and approve the proposals with or without modification of the Board of Studies regarding courses of study, academic regulations, curricula, syllabi and modifications thereof, instructional and evaluation arrangements, methods, procedures relevant thereto, etc.
• To make regulations regarding the admission of students to different programs of study in the Autonomous College, keeping in view the policy of the Government.
• To make regulations for sports, extra-curricular activities, and proper maintenance and functioning of the playgrounds and hostels.
• To recommend to the Governing Body proposals for the institution of new programmes of study.
• To recommend to the Governing Body institution of scholarships, studentships, fellowships, prizes, medals, and frame regulations for the award of the same.
• To advise the Governing Body on suggestions(s) pertaining to academic affairs.
• To perform such other functions assigned by the Governing Body.

Finance Committee

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Act as an advisory body to the Governing Body for consideration.
• Budget estimates relating to the grant received/receivable from funding agencies, income from fees, etc.
• Audited accounts for the above to be maintained.

Roles and Responsibilities:

IQAC

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
• Dissemination of information on various quality parameters of higher education.
• Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles.
• Acting as a nodal agency of the Institution for coordinating quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of best practices.
• Coordination of Academic audits and MRM meetings.
• Coordination of Stock Verification Audit.
• Maintenance of MoM of all the committees and submit the file to NAAC and NBA team whenever it is required

Program Assessment Committee

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Monitoring the achievements of Program Outcomes (POs), Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs) and Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) and plan necessary actions for the attainment of POs, PSOs and PEOs.
• Scheduling of inspection period to ensure assessment of POs and PSOs in a valid time period.
• Preparing periodic reports on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for management.
• Motivating the faculty and students towards attending workshops, developing projects, working models, paper publications and engaging in research activities.
• Interact with stakeholders and DAB to facilitate the achievement of POs, PSOs, and PEOs,maintain track record and current status.

Internal Complaint Committee

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Holistic empowerment of the women by conduction of awareness workshops, seminars covering self-defense and women's rights.
• Redressal of Grievances related to sexual harassment and other gender related issues.

Anti Ragging Committee

Anti-Ragging Squad

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conducting Anti-ragging Workshops Updating all websites with complete details, alarm bells etc.
• Regular interaction and counseling with the students identification of trouble-triggers
• Mention of anti-ragging warning in the Institution’s prospectus and information booklets/ brochures shall be ensured.

Anti-Ragging Squad: Surprise inspection of canteens, rest cum recreational rooms, toilets, corridors, bus-stands and any other measures which would augur well in preventing/ quelling ragging and any uncalled-for behavior/ incident shall be undertaken.

Standing Committee for SC/ST

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Effective implementation of the policies and programs of the Government of India, UGC and State Governments with regard to backward castes, classes and physically challenged.
• Suggest measures for achieving the objectives laid down by the various government agencies

• Preparation of Placement Brochure for final placement.
• Pre-placement visits (PPV) to the companies. Communication, networking and relationship building with the potential recruiters, Invitation to potential recruiters to visit the Institute.
• Continuation of placement activities after the stipulated period, till all the students are placed, Grooming and training of the candidates for the placements so that their chances of selection increase.
• General follow-up, joining formalities and other administrative activities.
• Maintain the Higher studies data base of the each department as per the NAAC and NBA requirement.
• Undertake various academic and non-academic initiatives for the students to be equipped to meet varied industry requirements.
• Implement and promote Chief Minister/Prime minister kaushal vikas yojana type of events. Take care of the necessary documentation for the same.
• Conduction of college level certification, add on couses , Value added courses and Bridge courses and maintain the file for the same.
• IPR, personality development, Basics of accounting, Technical writing, sales and marketing etc.Foreign languages, Universal human values or Technical certification like CAD design, Micro soft etc
• Conduct Seminars / workshops for placements and Higher studies.
