2024-07-25 Decentralized Vehicle Registration: A Blockchain Approach Published International 2025-26 Techno International, Kolkata, India
Kolkata, India
This paper explores the application of blockchain technology to the vehicle registration process, leveraging its immutability, security, and transparency properties to create a decentralized and impenetrable system. By doing this, we intend to address the challenges of upgrading the vehicle registration system in light of shifting car ownership and an increase in the number of vehicles on the road while also enhancing stakeholder communication, security, and record-keeping. Their complexity is further compounded by the fact that car ownership is dynamic and the number of vehicles on the road is always growing. Accurate risk evaluations for insurers, efficient event reporting for law enforcement, and regulatory compliance have evolved into essential requirements. As a result, the main technical goal is to create a blockchain-based system that would enable the creation of a decentralized, impenetrable automobile registration system.
2024-06-14 Intelligent Medical Assistance: Generic Medications Recommender Sytem Published International 2024-25 Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology, Nerul
Nerul, Navi Mumbai
In the world of generic drugs, emphasizing their primary benefits, which revolve around their low cost and widespread availability. The absence of significant costs associated with the development and marketing of a novel drug accounts for generic drugs’ cost-effectiveness. When a pharmaceutical company’s exclusive patent rights to a novel medication expire, it allows other manufacturers to make generic equivalents. This rivalry undoubtedly results in a large drop in the prices of these generic medications. However, a real issue arises since many patients, particularly those with lower incomes, are unaware of these cost-effective choices. To address this issue, the abstract suggests a viable solution in the form of a software program. This software uses modern technologies including Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Entity Extraction, and Cosine Similarity to bring innovation to healthcare. The major purpose of this software is to increase healthcare inclusion and accessibility. It accomplishes this by reading prescriptions, extracting key information, and recommending comparable generic medications. The suggested technological framework not only promises to streamline operations, but also to eliminate errors, thereby improving the efficiency and quality of patient care. The overarching goal is to help modernize healthcare by using these technologies to make vital treatments more accessible and cheaper to a larger population.
2023-12-08 A Survey: Agricultural Supply Chain Management and Land Registration using Blockchain Published International 2023-24 IEEE
K. J. Somaiya, Sion, Mumbai
A blockchain serves as a decentralized database or ledger shared across a computer network’s nodes. It ensures data records’ integrity and security while fostering trust without reliance on a central authority. Land registry procedures in India, like in numerous regions globally, often suffer from sluggishness and inconvenience. Current land registration & verification systems include an increasing number of fraud cases and lots of paperwork and court cases due to thousands of land records to maintain. Blockchain’s implementation will eliminate intermediaries in the system and also will reduce corruption, malpractices, and mismanagement of documents. It will increase the speed of the process and make it transparent. Land Registration is a simple decentralized application. Several significant issues have been noted, such as a high volume of physical transactions and the deliberate underreporting of property sale prices to the land registry office, aiming to avoid increased value taxes. After the literature survey analysis, we came up with three common comparison factors namely; Security, Transparency and Avoidance of forgery and malpractices. These parameters have been analyzed according to a fuzzy model. All the drawbacks can be best addressed by a suitable Blockchain-based solution. This text, explains the detailed traditional land registry system and how it can be improvised with blockchain. Hence, there is a need to create a system that will allow a direct transition from the seller to the buyer so as to ease the land registry transactions modules and create a system that will be more direct, transparent and secure for all the stakeholders involved in the land registration. A detailed study has been conducted which will help the researchers to get a better perspective on the current land registry system, its drawbacks and how it can be improvised.
2023-12-08 Facial Expression based Assistant for Interviewee using Video Processing Published International 2023-24 IEEE
K. J. Somaiya, Sion, Mumbai
An Interview is a conversation between a job applicant(interviewee) and a representative of an organization, which is conducted to assess whether the applicant is capable enough to be hired by the organization. It usually consists of a formal questionnaire which determines the applicant’s suitability for a job. But on an important day like a job interview, many lose confidence. The proposed model is designed to analyze various factors based on the emotion analysis of an interviewee using OpenCV. The model will fetch information from the video generated from the camera placed in front of the interviewee. The video goes as an input to the model and the model extracts information from the video. The model will fetch the information like the facial features of the candidate. Based on the information generated from the frames, the model creates a dataset and analyzes the interviewee to determine his confidence, concentration and nervousness while appearing for the interview.
2025-02-15 Vcare: A Survey on Menstrual Health Awareness and Accessibility Published International 2025-26 Springer
GLS University, Ahmedabad, India,
Menstrual health is an important, yet sometimes overlooked topic, especially for women residing in economically poor and rural areas. Women suffer from various problems such as lack of affordable sanitary products, ignorance regarding menstrual health, social stigma, and minimal medical care. This report investigates these problems by providing reliable menstruation products and knowledge on period health. In this study, both primary and secondary data sources were exploited. To understand the strategies that women employ to cope with their menstrual health in the underserved regions, we conducted a series of questionnaires as part of our field work. With this information, we were able to pinpoint gaps related to product consumption, health awareness, and societal barriers. Through papers, articles, blogs, and social media conversations, most notably on Twitter, we conducted secondary research. Stigma as well as the absence of affordable products and educational materials particularly in the rural areas has surfaced as a consequence. From social media conversations, we learned that there are a lot of assumptions made and that quite a number of currently available instructional materials are inadequate in meeting the needs women have. This research has shaped our approach towards providing better menstrual health education, tracking, and resources. We expect that these efforts will improve the quality of life for women in a number of regions and create an environment that is friendly to managing menstrual health.
